IBOA 2019 Technical Talks: Cody Mitchell
This Lunch and Learn is for those who operate and maintain buildings to achieve high performance, safe productive indoor environments, with low energy, water and resource use. Learn how to apply these guidelines to all buildings, not just the new and labeled ones.
Cody has 20 years' experience in the HVAC Industry including 11 years dedicated to indoor/outdoor air quality. He has 2 certifications from the National Air Filtration Association (NAFA), the sanctioning body for the Filtration Industry and is 1 of 3 in the State of Idaho to hold a Certified Air Filtration Specialist (CAFS) Technical Certification. In addition, he maintains a Nationally Certified Technician (NCT) Level One Certification; he is 1 in 4 in the State of Idaho to hold this certification and he trained/certified the other 3 certificate holders. Cody plans on attending the NCT Level 2 training and certification later this year. Upon completion, he will be the only person in the State of Idaho to hold that certification. The NCT Level 2 training and certification prepares certificate holders on Bio-hazard processes including Infectious Disease (Bag In-Bag Out Containment Systems) for filter install, removal and disposal.
